When I started working with Debra, I had been in and out of doctor’s offices and emergency rooms for 10 months dealing with throat issues. I could not even talk without losing my voice and singing was completely out of the question. After many doctors and ENT specialist, I was told that my vocal chords were beautiful but not working correctly. The doctors had me start to work with a Speech Therapist. She told me that if we could not correct the problem we would need to inject my vocal cords to temporarily fix them. For me this was not an option.
I met Debra Lynn at the Region 21 Sweet Adeline contest. She let me know, by just listening to me, there was nothing wrong with my vocal chords. Over the past 8 weeks, she has taught me the Bel Canto breathing method.
At my last session, my Speech Therapist was very surprised and commented on how strong my voice has become, in such a short time. I am back to singing and could not be happier. I plan to continue working, learning and getting even stronger with Debra Lynn. She has been a godsend in my life.

Angel of Music...
I call her that for two reasons.
First, she looks like one. Wether it’s an online class or a meeting in person, her lovely graceful presence lights up the room and puts a smile on your face.
Second, an angel is a special messenger from God. God sends the angel to bring love and comfort to us all. The divine gift of music allows us to reach each other on a spiritual plane in a special way that cures our loneliness. Something our world desperately needs.
Debra sings beautifully. But unlike many high level performers, she is also able to translate complex singing concepts into information which is comprehensible to aspiring singers at any stage of development. Part of her mission on earth is to help us develop our singing talent so that we can touch the hearts and souls of our fellow children of God. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God and God in him (John4:16). Love is all you need.
