As a teacher, I hear the beauty of a student's voice long before they believe in it themselves.

What is between struggle and ease in the world of singing? For the most part, air.

We have the tendency to believe that more air helps us sing better. If we were in Italy, master teachers would suggest otherwise.

What if, less air under the vocal folds helps them function more efficiently?

What if, our ability to sing effortlessly has more to do with remaining structurally stable?

What if, the understanding that Tony Bennett used for his professional results is available to anyone willing to step out of the game of force?

A little love note

“Part of her mission on earth is to help us develop our singing talent so that we can touch the hearts and souls of others.”

— Robert Langen, M.D.
